Abstract

Southern African has enriched our knowledge of human evolution.  Biological remains from the region has not only threw light on the anatomy and behaviour of hominids but had also contributed in the understanding of the extinct and extant fauna. This paper looks at the South African environment with emphasis on highlighting the unique features of the region
