    Since its inception in 1980 al-Fikr Journal of Arabic and Islamic studies has provided an international scholarly forum for critical engagements in the twin disciplines of Arabic and Islamic Studies broadly defined. As is evidenced in its title, the Journal welcomes well researched “Thoughts”, “Ideas” and “Viewpoints” on, among others, Arabic language, literature –modern and pre-modern, Islamic law, jurisprudence, politics, sociology, history, and culture. Al-Fikr will also accept contributions from scholars in other disciplines within the humanities and the social-sciences particularly where such articles or essays engage issues which have close relations to Arabic and Islamic culture.

  • The Nigerian Journal of Rural Extension and Development

    The Nigerian Journal of Rural Extension and Development (NJRED), a referred journal, is a publication of the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. The journal is intended to encourage systematic and continuous publication of practical ideas and empirical research work in the area of Rural Extension and Development as it relates to Rural Development, Women in Development. Agriculture and Extension Education, Rural Sociology, Livelihood, Mass and Extension Communication, Health and Nutrition Extension, Home Economics, Adult Education, and Multi-disciplinary Rural Extension issues.

    The Journal, RENEWABLE - is an official publication of the Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources, University of Ibadan; that is published twice (June and December) a year in one volume. The Journal publishes carefully peer-reviewed original research articles on various aspects of renewable natural resources, forestry, environment, aquaculture, wildlife, ecotourism, and fisheries management. It covers diverse areas such as production, management, products, biotechnology, socio-economics, extension, health, physiology, nutrition, feeds and feedstuff, breeding and genetics, reproduction, farming systems, and man-flora-fauna interactions within the context of sustainable management of renewable natural resources. Review articles covering new developments in the aforementioned fields are also acceptable.

  • African Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management

    This journal will provide an international forum for the publication of papers in the areas of fisheries and aquaculture sciences, technology, management, and relevant socio-economic, cultural, and literary studies related to fisheries and aquaculture. The scope would cover fisheries and aquaculture in fresh, brackish, and saltwater systems, and all aspects of associated ecology, environment, husbandry, nutrition, economics, pollution, and cross-sectoral issues. Both theoretical and practical papers are acceptable, including laboratory and field experimental studies relevant to fisheries and aquaculture. Papers on the conservation of exploitable living resources are welcome Review and viewpoint articles would are also published. As the specified areas inevitably impinge on and interrelate with each other, the approach of the journal would be multidisciplinary, and authors Should be encouraged to emphasize the relevance of their own work to that of other disciplines The journal is intended for fisheries, biological, and aquaculture scientists, technologists, economists, managers administrators, managers, administrators, policymakers, legislators and any periods with research with interested to studies

  • University of Ibadan Journal of Science and Logics in ICT Research

    The UIJSLICTR is a scholarly peer reviewed journal published twice in a year. The journal aims at providing a platform and encourages emerging scholars and academicians globally to share their professional and academic knowledge in the fields of computer science, engineering, technology and related disciplines. UIJSLICTR also aims to reach a large number of audiences worldwide with original and current research work completed on the vital issues of the above important disciplines. Other original works like, well written surveys, book reviews, review articles and high quality technical notes from experts in the field to promote intuitive understanding of the state-of-the-art are also welcome. In this maiden edition, 18 articles were received from authors from the different parts of Nigeria including one from UK. At the end of the review process and plagiarism check, only nine were found to be publishable, as we intend to build quality into the Journal right from the outset.
